Men's socks: an art form from Italy
All men's dress socks and knee-high socks from the label Carlo Lanza are made with great care at an atelier in the south of Italy. This Italian atelier has transformed sock-making more or less into an art. They only use the best fabrics in the world, which can also be characterized as delicate. That’s why it’s important to treat and clean your socks and knee highs properly and with care.
How do you best clean your socks & knee highs?
Socks often go in a big pile of laundry and unfortunately get little attention. Still, I want to give you a few tips on how to wash your socks. If you take the tips below to heart, you will see that this will benefit the shelf life of your socks.
- Wash your socks at a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius
- Turn your socks inside-out, preferably before washing
- Dry your socks on a clothing rack and not in the dryer
- Try to avoid walking around the house in your socks as much as possible, and put on comfortable slippers to prevent extra wear on your socks
